I'll never use a 500mA battery again. A 2-battery light with these more powerful batteries typically stays on until dawn, in late autumn. That's not the sun failing you, it's the one or two 500 mA batteries. If you bought a batch of solar stuff and are about to give up, try one package of these. Solar landscape lights are cute, but you can't rely on them. In the northern US, typical driveway lights stay on an hour or two after sunset and then flicker out. I started out with a good full charge, but several weeks in to the season of short days and heavy overcast, they're still that much better.
I bought about 30 of the AA and AAA batteries and have used them for over two years for everything in the house: a wireless mouse and keyboard, TV remote controls, WII remotes, WII Fit balance board, Rock Band guitars and portable MP3 players. My main problem is the batteries self-discharge completely after 1-2 months. Because eneloop self-discharges much slower (or so I've read) and are about the same price, I'm recycling these Energizer batteries and getting eneloop. These batteries are much better than buying regular alkaline batteries because they can be recharged many times over. I am annoyed with having to replace batteries so often in my devices even when they sit unused.
Junk, don't fall for it. They were all the same. I've used 3 different sets, thinking that I must have accidentally got a bad pack. I got some Radio Shack batteries to conform it was not my 3 digital cameras, and those batteries worked great. Garbage. Prior great reviews have to be bogus. Low energy, not enough juice to get the photo in under autofocus, forget driving the flash and re-energizing that.
Won't take more than a handfull of photos on my point and shoot. Tried two different Energizer branded chargers as well as a sanyo charger and still the same results. This product is a complete waste of money. These batteries are absolute garbage. Both the AA and AAA discharge within a day or two. They even run dry in my remote control after a week or so.
It does matter. We're okay because we simply wanted more than 2000. We got 2300mAh. The one dissappointment is that Amazon advertised them as being 2500mAh, but that is not what we received. The real test will be time, but they work great for the start. I knew that these batteries would meet our needs. I'd be happy if we really do get more than 500 charges from these. Not nice.
